Our knowledgeable staff brings years of running, training and coaching experience to the table to properly aid you in your running and walking needs. We take pride in fitting customers of all ages and fitness levels for the best and most functional shoes with the aim of helping you achieve your goals! We also provide help picking top of the line apparel and accessories including: GPS watches, sunglasses, heart rate monitors, pedometers, orthotics, compression gear, socks, books, energy bars and gels, running strollers, and gift certificates. We carry all of the major brands and are able to order many items which are not currently stocked, so please feel free to ask or email us if you have any requests or questions. Better yet, stop by and have one of our experts fit you for shoes and test them out on our treadmill. We have the most experienced staff in the area and by far the largest selection around!
When we were doing construction on the store before opening we wanted to surprise everyone with the new look of the building, so Scott put the North Wales Running Company logo all over the window in small papers. There was a small spot left uncovered. As a joke and a hint of things to come All Kinds of Fast was born out of sliiiiiightly modifying a Daub Hardware sign advertising All Kinds of Fasteners. A North Wales Running Company logo was taped over the "ners" and it became All Kinds of Fast and went up in the window. By the end of that day, however, we adopted our little joke as our mission. The North Wales Running Company is here to serve you. We are here for all kinds of fast, from beginners to land speed record holders, from walkers to triathletes to people in physical therapy and ultramarathoners. You are our community and we want to help all types of athletes and people. We are interested in meeting all of our customer's needs as they begin a walking regimen, a fitness program, or train for a state title. We are here for you and want to do our part to help you along with all of your endeavors! We love seeing all kinds of runners and walkers out at the races or around town rocking NWRC shirts. Alycia is first and foremost a Bambie from St. Hubert's. She enjoys running fast, being a flautist, teaching, keeping the store functioning smoothly, and being delightful. She also enjoys seeing cows whilst running.
Gayland comes to us via many years in the industry and a varied and wonderful running history. He knows more facts about random races than almost anyone on the planet. He also enjoys Chaka Khan, coffee, and the jazz flute. He is awesome.
Terry comes to the floor with a ton of years of experience as an amazing runner and footwear guru. We are blessed with his ability to also origami inventory into meaningful patterns on our shelves.
Stacey is an all around supahstar. She comes to us from the coaching and triathlon world and is one of the top area coaches for runners and triathletes alike! When she isn't coaching or being an awesome Mom she drives a snowplow!
Stan the Man loves all things run specialty and is a tech guru, especially when it comes to Topo. He loves sharing his passion with both customers and staff. We're lucky he chose us for his third career :)
Geena is a mom of 2 who loves running, and has run 6 full marathons. She also loves reading, baking, and journaling. In 2019, she traveled to 47 states while living out of a van with her husband!
Mary is a personal trainer, mom, coach, and all around inspiration. She is bored with normal running, so she runs up mountains and has just completed a marathon in every state, and some straight up mountains! FYI the mountains quit first!
Meredith
Meredith is a jack of all trades! She has a passion for running and fitness and has also built an embroidery business (Lei & Gray) inspired by her two children!
Andrew
Andrew loves all distances from the marathon all the way up to 100 miles! When he's not working at All Kinds of Fast, you can find him traveling and spending time with his family.
Michelle is the definition of cool and has the best endurance on staff. She runs long distances up to 100 miles just to keep herself in shape for running shoes back and forth on a busy day :)
Karalyn keeps us all fit by making us do squats and pushups in between fittings. It is exhausting. Please come shop at the store, I can't feel my arms......
When not working at the store, she's currently pursuing her master's degree in counseling.
Harrison does it all! He runs, plays rugby, volunteer fire fights - oh, and he's 1 of 100 cousins! You can find Harrison studying hard at Albright College during the school year and spending time on the sales floor with us in between semesters.
Miss Jenn is our resident rearkicking fireball. When she is not teaching or racing, she can be found out beating up on the boys on the local trails and roads!
Sarah has been a customer at All Kinds of Fast since our first year and we've been blessed to have her on staff! Her smile lights up the room and instantly makes you feel like part of the family. You can usually find her working on Saturdays with Gayland :)
Crystal has the best laugh around - if you're ever having a bad day, stop by and your day will instantly turn around. She's funny, kind, and a super talented runner! She won't brag, but she's won the Broad Street 10-Miler and competed in the Marathon Olympic Triails :)
Lisa does it all. She teaches, she runs, she lifts, she yogas, she body pumps, and loves excellent early post punk music and, When she is away from the store she can be found on the Green Ribbon Trail or Valley Green zipping along the trail!
Zach hails from Pittsvegas, PA. He comes to us via North Penn and Messiah College, and now teaches and coaches at Owen J. Roberts M.S. He is currently training for the Philadelphia Marathon and supplies us with chewing gum. He is awesome.
Hailey comes to us from Geneva College where she's an all-star in cross country and track - she's also known for making buzzer beater shots in basketball!
Special education teacher by day, shoe fit expert by the weekend. Jules does it all. She ran her first marathon last fall in Philladelphia and is currently training for her second marathon this fall in Chicago.
Mike has been running since high school and hasn't looked back. When he's not slinging shoes with us, you can find him cheering on our Philadelphia sports teams and working his full-time gig as an accountant.
Dan is one of the most seasoned runners of the team! When he isn't launching spacecraft or hanging with his grandkids, he can be found at the shore, drinking coffee or leading group runs.
Anna is an excellent human being who comes to us from the beautiful state of Maryland with a love of all things ultra trail running, hiking, and literature.
Speedy has been with us from day one. He is on permanent loan from Nana and keeps watch over the store day and night with a bright smile and a friendly face.
Karl loved all things Track and Field, and truly was our renaissance man. He competed in every event from the 100m to the marathon.
Rocky the Rocket-Turtle loves to show everyone that ALL KINDS of Fast are welcome at the NWRC!
Scott has been here for quite a long time. Normally he cannot be found on email or on the phone, but if you come in the door you may spy him in his natural habitat cobbling footwear. If he isn't at the store he is running trails or at Camp Innabah.
